1 hours worth of swimming. Covered 1 mile; 3/4 mile breaststroke, 1/4 mile backstroke plus some extra metres for the hell of it.
Working on protecting the knees. Swimming is supposed to be good for the joints, so why did it hurt so much. Am I swimming wrong, am I twisting my knee when I am swimming. Can I give it up, or should I swim a different stroke. I felt better after I had been swimming for about 20 minutes. The first session was a little painful though.
Waiting for the sports person to phone me back about a consultation. If I have to give something up it will be the swimming. I can always take up boxing again to give my workout a bit of variety.
Going for a light workout of low impact stuff tomorrow. Cycling, Cross training and maybe walking. Have to do something!
